Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Marble Installation Helper to support skilled tradespeople in performing various tasks related to marble installation. This entry-level role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites. The Marble Installation Helper will assist in preparing materials, cleaning work areas, and providing essential support to marble setters, ensuring efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist marble setters in measuring, cutting, and installing marble tiles and slabs.
- Prepare and organize materials and tools necessary for marble installation.
- Hold and supply tools and materials to skilled workers during installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the proper disposal of waste materials.
- Assist in the setup of scaffolding and other equipment as needed for marble installation projects.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure job site.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment used in marble installation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and construction equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry.
