Job Brief

As a Master Plumber, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, altering, and repairing pipelines and pipe systems that transport water, steam, air, and other liquids or gases. This role requires extensive experience in plumbing systems, including the installation of heating and cooling equipment as well as mechanical control systems. You will ensure compliance with all regulations, maintain high safety standards, and lead plumbing projects with expertise in system design and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, and repair various piping systems for water, gas, air, and steam.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems, including HVAC units.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems and identify issues for remediation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentice plumbers on job sites.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of plumbing work completed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals on plumbing projects.

Requirements

  • Valid Master Plumber license or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing or related field.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Experience with HVAC and mechanical control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
