Job Brief
The M60A2 Armor Crewman plays a critical role in military operations by operating tanks, light armor, and amphibious assault vehicles in diverse combat situations. Responsibilities
- Operate and navigate M60A2 tanks and other armored vehicles during combat missions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot vehicle systems, including targeting and firing mechanisms.
- Utilize onboard communications and navigation equipment to ensure mission success.
- Transport personnel and equipment safely in hostile environments.
- Operate auxiliary weapons such as machine guns and grenade launchers effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of armored vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members to execute tactical maneuvers and strategies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and military regulations while in the field.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training or certification in armored vehicle operation preferred.
- Proven experience in operating military vehicles, particularly M60A2 tanks.
- Strong technical skills in maintaining and repairing vehicle systems and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and command units.
- Familiarity with military protocols and safety regulations related to vehicle operation.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks in diverse terrains.
- Valid military driver’s license and additional certifications as required.
