Job Brief

As a Job Training Specialist, you will design and implement effective training and development programs aimed at enhancing individual skills and overall organizational performance. You will assess training needs, develop instructional materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives. This role requires a strong background in adult education and training methodologies, alongside excellent communication and analytical skills to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze organizational training needs to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align training programs with organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development.
  • Maintain training records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist or similar role, with a focus on adult learning.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage learners.
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to assess training impact and effectiveness.
  • Certifications in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTD, ATD) are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
