Job Brief
The Industrial Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure that production goals are met in line with cost, quality, and quantity specifications. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and inventory requirements.
- Monitor production processes and workflow to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain.
- Manage budgets and control costs while maintaining product quality and production output.
- Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies related to manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret production data and metrics.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in manufacturing.
- Certification in Project Management or Operations Management is a plus.
