Job Brief
The High School Auto Repair Teacher is responsible for delivering comprehensive vocational education in automotive repair and maintenance to secondary school students. Responsibilities

- Conduct hands-on training sessions in a workshop environment, utilizing industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations, exams, and projects to ensure mastery of skills.
- Maintain an organized and safe classroom and workshop environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other educators and industry professionals to enhance student learning opportunities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students regarding career paths in the automotive industry.
- Stay updated on emerging automotive technologies and educational best practices to continuously improve teaching methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Valid teaching certification or license in vocational education.
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with industry certifications (e.g., ASE certification).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with current automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Experience in a classroom or training environment is preferred.
