Job Brief
As a Bottle Capper, you will play a vital role in the production process by operating and tending machinery to efficiently cap bottles for various industrial and consumer products. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottle capping machines to ensure proper functionality and efficiency
- Prepare and set up machinery for the capping process, including adjustments for different bottle sizes and cap types
- Inspect capped bottles for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance on capping equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance
- Collaborate with production team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe working environment
- Document production data and report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to supervisors
- Assist in training new employees on capping procedures and equipment operation as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with bottling or capping operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with quality control principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required by production needs
