Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Gas Station Attendant to provide exceptional service to our customers while ensuring efficient fuel and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive service and possess strong customer service skills. Primary responsibilities include dispensing fuel, performing minor vehicle maintenance, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean and organized station environment. Responsibilities
- Dispense fuel and lubricants to automobiles, buses, trucks, boats, and other vehicles.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks, including changing motor oil, refilling antifreeze, and replacing lights or accessories.
- Conduct tire repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collect payments for services and supplies, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fuel station, including the sales area and service equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product information.
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Comply with safety and environmental regulations, ensuring a secure working environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive service or customer service roles is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to operate fuel dispensing equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
