Responsibilities
- Assemble and repair oil field equipment using hand and power tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the setup and operation of drilling rigs and related equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and machinery to identify potential issues.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in safety meetings to uphold workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with the drilling crew to execute tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support drilling operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical fields is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of oil field operations and equipment is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver’s license; certification in safety training (e.g., H2S Awareness, First Aid) is an advantage.
