Responsibilities

  • Assist in the setup and operation of drilling rigs and related equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools and machinery to identify potential issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and participate in safety meetings to uphold workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the drilling crew to execute tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors to support drilling operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical fields is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of oil field operations and equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on a flexible schedule.
  • Valid driver’s license; certification in safety training (e.g., H2S Awareness, First Aid) is an advantage.
