Job Brief
As a Gas and Oil Servicer, you will play a crucial role in providing essential maintenance and fueling services to a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, buses, trucks, and marine crafts. This role requires hands-on experience with automotive systems and a strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of vehicle lubricants, fuel types, and accessory installations, ensuring that all services meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Service and fuel a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and boats with appropriate lubricants and accessories.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing motor oil, refilling antifreeze, and replacing vehicle accessories (e.g., light bulbs, wiper blades, fan belts).
- Inspect and repair or replace tires as needed to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Collect payments for services rendered and manage transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations while handling fuels and lubricants.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns efficiently.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technologies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in automotive service or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Gas and Oil Servicer or in a similar automotive service role.
- Solid understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with fuel types, lubricants, and vehicle accessories.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Certification in automotive service (e.g., ASE) is a plus.
