Job Brief
As a Foreman, you will play a crucial role in supervising and coordinating the activities of construction and extraction workers. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and manage construction site activities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Directly supervise and coordinate the work of construction or extraction teams.
- Implement safety policies and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to upper management.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to uphold quality standards.
- Assist in training and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate construction machinery as needed.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project demands.
