Job Brief

The Flight Communications Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This position requires expertise in operating aircraft communications and detection systems, establishing satellite links, and jamming enemy communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and experience in conducting thorough inspections, operating weapons and defense systems, and managing in-flight refueling operations, all while adhering to safety and emergency protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to support mission objectives.
  • Establish satellite linkages and implement jamming capabilities against enemy communications.
  • Conduct preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Manage and maintain aircraft weapons systems and defensive measures.
  • Execute in-flight refueling operations, ensuring safety and precision.
  • Implement aircraft safety protocols and emergency procedures during missions.
  • Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
  • Conduct cargo and personnel drops as required by mission parameters.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military or aviation technical training preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Flight Communications Operator or similar role in military or aviation environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency with aircraft communication, detection, and weapons systems.
  • Ability to perform thorough inspections and maintenance of aircraft equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in aviation operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Valid aviation-related certifications and licenses as required.
