Job Brief

As an Electroplating Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting electroplating products to wholesalers and manufacturers. This role requires a solid understanding of technical concepts in chemistry and engineering, typically acquired through at least two years of postsecondary education. You will leverage your scientific knowledge to engage clients, provide solutions, and develop long-term relationships within the electroplating industry. Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients in the electroplating market to drive sales growth.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers regarding electroplating processes and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the electroplating or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electroplating processes, materials, and applications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
