Job Brief
The Electric Motor Rewinder is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of electric motors, wiring, and switches. Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical issues in motors and related equipment to determine necessary repairs.
- Rewind electric motors using industry-standard techniques and tools.
- Install and replace motor wiring, switches, and other components as required.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative measures to ensure optimal motor performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while performing tasks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding electric motor operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electric Motor Rewinder or similar role in electrical maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of electric motor systems, wiring, and electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical systems.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in motor rewinding.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in an electrical environment.
