Job Brief
The Cloak Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for patrons in locker rooms, dressing rooms, and coatrooms by efficiently managing personal item storage and retrieval. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons and assisting with personal item storage and retrieval.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cloakroom area, ensuring all personal items are stored securely.
- Accurately label and track personal belongings to prevent loss or mix-ups.
- Assist patrons with inquiries regarding locker use, coat storage, and other related services.
- Monitor the cloakroom for any unusual activity to ensure the safety and security of all items.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure a smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions for any fees associated with cloakroom services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items as necessary and to stand for extended periods.
