Job Brief
As a Certified Recreational Therapist, you will plan, direct, and coordinate medically-approved recreation programs tailored for patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and nursing homes. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field.
- Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) is required.
- Proven experience in recreational therapy or related healthcare fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment for various recreational activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
