Job Brief

The Certified Indoor Environmentalist plays a crucial role in assessing and improving indoor air quality and environmental conditions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory and field tests to measure indoor air quality and environmental pollutants.
  • Collect and analyze samples of gases, soil, water, and other materials for testing.
  • Investigate and identify sources of pollution affecting health and safety in indoor environments.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, and specialists to develop remediation plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) certification or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • Experience in environmental testing methodologies and sampling techniques.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and data analysis software.
  • Strong knowledge of indoor air quality standards and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
