Job Brief

As a Ceramic Mold Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative ceramic molds for various manufactured products, including automotive components, home appliances, and children’s toys. Responsibilities

  • Design and model ceramic molds using CAD software and other design tools.
  • Collaborate with product engineers and manufacturers to ensure mold feasibility and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough research on materials and market needs to inform design decisions.
  • Prototype and test mold designs to ensure functionality and performance standards.
  • Revise and improve designs based on feedback and testing results.
  • Maintain documentation of design processes, materials used, and specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in ceramic design technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams during the production phase.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Ceramics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mold design, preferably in ceramics or related materials.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and mold design tools.
  • Strong understanding of materials science and ceramic properties.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing techniques for ceramics.
