Job Brief
As a Brewmaster, you will oversee the entire brewing process, ensuring the production of high-quality beer that meets company standards and consumer expectations. You will manage the setup, operation, and maintenance of continuous flow and vat-type equipment, while leading a team of brewing professionals. A strong background in brewing techniques, quality control, and equipment management is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor various brewing equipment including fermentation tanks, centrifuges, and filter presses.
- Develop and implement brewing recipes to create unique and high-quality beer products.
- Conduct quality control tests and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the fermentation process and monitor temperature, pressure, and other variables to optimize production.
- Train and supervise brewing staff, promoting best practices in brewing and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of production processes, ingredient usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new beer concepts based on market trends and consumer feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a brewing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of brewing techniques, fermentation, and quality control processes.
- Experience operating brewing equipment, including vat-type and continuous flow machinery.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in brewing.
- Certification in brewing or related qualifications is a plus.
