Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of bicycles.
- Perform routine maintenance, including brake adjustments, gear tuning, and tire replacements.
- Inspect bicycles for safety and functionality, recommending necessary repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering expert advice to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques related to bicycle repair and maintenance.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering parts and supplies as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic or similar role in bicycle repair.
- Strong knowledge of bicycle components, tools, and repair techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues effectively.
- Experience with both traditional and electric bicycles is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Certification from a recognized bike mechanic training program is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
