Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Au Pair to provide high-quality childcare for families. The ideal candidate will possess experience in supervising and caring for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while engaging them in educational and fun activities. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, fostering their physical and emotional development.
- Assist with daily routines, including dressing, feeding, and bathing, while ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
- Coordinate playdates and outings to promote social interaction and physical activity.
- Help with homework and educational tasks to support academic growth.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Implement daily schedules and routines to create a structured environment.
- Be a positive role model and mentor to children, promoting good behavior and social skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or similar roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to different family dynamics and routines.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation purposes.
- Background check clearance to ensure the safety of children.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
