Job Brief
We are seeking a motivated Window Glazier Helper to support skilled glaziers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus, along with a basic understanding of safety protocols and glass handling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assist glaziers with the installation and replacement of windows, mirrors, and other glass products.
- Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment.
- Handle and transport glass materials safely and efficiently to prevent damage.
- Measure and cut glass according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in glass installation and repair.
- Follow safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to glass installations and repairs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in construction or glass installation is preferred.
- Previous experience in a construction or trade environment is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of glass handling and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools related to glass work.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
