Job Brief
We are seeking a dedicated Window Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of various buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential window cleaning and be skilled in performing heavy cleaning duties, including washing floors, walls, and glass surfaces. Key responsibilities include routine maintenance tasks, snow and debris removal, and addressing any maintenance needs that arise.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality window cleaning on residential and commercial properties, ensuring a streak-free finish.
- Conduct heavy cleaning duties, such as shampooing rugs, washing walls, and removing debris.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of buildings and surrounding areas.
- Address maintenance activities, including furnace and boiler upkeep.
- Notify management about necessary repairs and maintenance issues.
- Remove snow and debris from sidewalks to ensure safe access.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) while on the job.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition and properly organized.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Window Cleaner, with a strong portfolio of previous work.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with the ability to use them safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment, including ladders and lifts.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
