Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Window Air Conditioner Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of window air conditioning units, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Responsibilities
- Install window air conditioning units in residential and commercial properties, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on air conditioning units to ensure efficient operation and extend the lifespan of the equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in window air conditioners, providing quick and effective solutions to issues.
- Advise clients on proper usage and maintenance of their air conditioning systems for optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks performed.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades as necessary to complete projects efficiently.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC installation and repair.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an air conditioning installer or similar role, preferably with window units.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and plumbing basics.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to installation processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
