Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to enhance tree health and aesthetics.
- Utilize climbing and rigging techniques to access high branches safely.
- Operate hand tools and power pruners to efficiently trim trees and shrubs.
- Assess tree health and identify potential hazards or diseases.
- Maintain safe working practices while operating truck-mounted lifts.
- Collaborate with team members to execute tree care projects effectively.
- Adhere to local regulations and safety standards in all tree care operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tree Trimmer or in a similar role within the arboriculture industry.
- Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and pruning techniques.
- Proficiency in using climbing gear, rigging equipment, and power tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions safely.
- Valid driver’s license and, where applicable, relevant certifications (e.g., ISA Certified Arborist).
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
