Job Brief

The Tower Loader Operator is responsible for operating mechanical boom and cable systems to efficiently lift and relocate materials, machines, or products across various job sites. This role requires a skilled operator with experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically tower and cable equipment. Responsibilities

  • Operate tower and cable equipment to lift and transport materials safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and maintain mechanical boom and cable systems before and after operations.
  • Follow safety regulations and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with site personnel to determine loading and unloading requirements.
  • Conduct routine checks and troubleshooting on equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Document operational activities and maintain accurate records of equipment usage.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Tower Loader Operator or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification and relevant heavy equipment licenses.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for operating heavy machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for operating machinery.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
