Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Dietitian to develop and implement comprehensive nutritional programs aimed at promoting health and managing disease. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical nutrition, with expertise in food service management, patient counseling, and nutritional research. Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct food service and nutritional programs to enhance patient health and manage dietary-related diseases.
  • Assess individual nutritional needs and develop personalized dietary plans based on medical history and health goals.
  • Supervise the preparation and distribution of therapeutic diets in compliance with established nutritional guidelines.
  • Provide counseling and education to individuals and groups on nutritional practices and healthy eating habits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate dietary measures into treatment plans and patient care.
  • Conduct nutritional research and stay updated on industry trends to improve dietary programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary interventions and adjust plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and nutrition-related data for reporting and compliance purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition or therapeutic dietetics.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition science, food safety, and dietary management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective counseling.
  • Proficiency in nutrition assessment tools and dietary planning software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is a plus.
