Responsibilities

- Maintain and repair costumes, ensuring all garments are in excellent condition before and during performances.
- Assist with quick costume changes, coordinating with cast members for seamless transitions.
- Organize and manage wardrobe areas, keeping costumes sorted and accessible.
- Monitor and track costume inventory, reporting any necessary replacements or repairs.
- Support the overall production team to ensure a smooth performance experience.
- Stay updated on fashion trends and costume design techniques relevant to theatrical productions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a wardrobe dresser or in a similar role within the performing arts.
- Understanding of fabric types, costume care, and maintenance techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sewing and alteration techniques is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cast and crew.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in line with production schedules.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A degree or certification in costume design or a related field is a plus.
