Job Brief
As a Theater Usher, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall patron experience during live entertainment events. Responsibilities
- Collect and validate admission tickets and passes from patrons at the entrance.
- Guide patrons to their designated seats ensuring a smooth entry process.
- Assist patrons with locating facilities such as restrooms, telephones, and concessions.
- Monitor crowd flow and maintain order during entry and exit periods.
- Respond promptly to patron inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle lost and found items, assisting patrons in retrieving their belongings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures during events.
- Support event staff in implementing special arrangements or accommodations for patrons with disabilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in customer service or event management is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of safety and emergency protocols in entertainment venues.
- Ability to stand for long periods and navigate crowded environments.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and basic technology as required.
