Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assess, plan, organize, and implement personalized rehabilitative programs aimed at improving patient mobility, relieving pain, increasing strength, and correcting disabling conditions resulting from injuries or diseases. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to enhancing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and reporting.
