Job Brief
As a Termite Treater, you will be responsible for implementing pest control measures to eliminate termite infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a thorough understanding of pest management techniques, chemical application, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience in pest control, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify termite infestations and assess damage.
- Apply or release chemical solutions and toxic gases according to safety guidelines for effective pest control.
- Set traps and use baiting systems to eliminate termites and other pests in the surrounding areas.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of treatments and pest management activities.
- Educate clients on preventative measures and pest control options to minimize future infestations.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in pest management preferred.
- Proven experience in pest control, specifically in termite treatment and management.
- Knowledge of applicable pesticides, chemicals, and pest control equipment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for effective pest identification and treatment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide support.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a variety of environments.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
