Job Brief
The Termite Technician is responsible for identifying, treating, and preventing termite infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role requires expertise in applying chemical solutions, utilizing traps, and executing pest control techniques to ensure effective removal of termites and other wood-destroying insects. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify termite infestations and assess the extent of damage.
- Apply or release chemical solutions, toxic gases, and bait systems to eliminate termites and prevent future infestations.
- Set and monitor traps for effective pest control, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Educate clients on termite prevention strategies and recommend maintenance practices for their properties.
- Document treatment plans, service reports, and customer interactions accurately and timely.
- Stay updated with industry trends, pest control technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to termite management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in pest control or entomology preferred.
- Proven experience as a Termite Technician or in a similar pest control role.
- Strong knowledge of pest management techniques, particularly for termite control.
- Ability to safely handle and apply chemical solutions and pesticides.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
