Responsibilities
- Design and implement training programs that enhance athletes’ skills, techniques, and overall performance in tennis.
- Conduct individual and group lessons while demonstrating effective tennis techniques and strategies.
- Evaluate athletes’ strengths and weaknesses to provide personalized feedback and development plans.
- Prepare athletes for competitive events by organizing practices and developing game strategies.
- Monitor and assess athletes’ progress, adjusting training methods as necessary to meet performance goals.
- Foster a positive and motivating training environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Stay updated on latest coaching techniques, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines in tennis.
- Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and staff to discuss training progress and competition schedules.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tennis Coach or similar role with a solid understanding of tennis techniques and strategies.
- Certification in tennis coaching from a recognized organization or governing body.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to effectively train and inspire athletes.
- Ability to assess player performance and tailor training programs accordingly.
- Previous experience in competitive tennis, either as a player or coach, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of sports safety protocols and first aid certification is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules.
