Job Brief
As a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Trained Counterintelligence/Human Source Intelligence Officer, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating threats to national security through technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) and human intelligence operations. This position requires extensive experience in counterintelligence practices and the ability to analyze complex data to provide actionable insights. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of surveillance technologies and counter-surveillance techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough technical surveillance countermeasures assessments to identify vulnerabilities in security protocols.
- Implement counterintelligence strategies to protect sensitive information and operations from adversarial threats.
- Collect, analyze, and report on human intelligence to inform operational and strategic decisions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive counter-surveillance plans to safeguard personnel and facilities.
- Train and mentor team members in TSCM and counterintelligence methodologies.
- Collaborate with various agencies and stakeholders to share intelligence and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Stay current on emerging surveillance technologies and counterintelligence trends.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, security management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in counterintelligence and technical surveillance countermeasures.
- Certifications in counterintelligence, TSCM, or related technical fields are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and threat assessment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and presentation.
- Familiarity with surveillance technologies, counter-surveillance tactics, and intelligence collection methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Security clearance eligibility is required for this role.
