Job Brief
The Tactical Vehicle Painter is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining spray and rolling machines to apply various coatings and paints on tactical vehicles and other products. Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate spraying and rolling machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Apply coatings and paints to tactical vehicles using various materials, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
- Maintain and clean equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Follow safety regulations and best practices when handling hazardous materials.
- Document work processes and material usage for inventory and quality control purposes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive painting or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a vehicle painter or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials, including lacquer, enamel, and rust-proofing agents.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to painting and hazardous materials.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.
