Job Brief
As a Stoker Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of heating systems, central air conditioning, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, including oil burners, hot-air furnaces, and heating stoves. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and a proven track record in the installation and maintenance of heating equipment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure oil burners, hot-air furnaces, heating stoves, and other heating systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Assess the performance of heating systems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and educate clients on system operations and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work performed.
- Collaborate with other HVAC professionals to complete larger projects effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in installing and repairing heating systems and HVAC equipment.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
