Job Brief

As a Stoker Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of heating systems, central air conditioning, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, including oil burners, hot-air furnaces, and heating stoves. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems and a proven track record in the installation and maintenance of heating equipment. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure oil burners, hot-air furnaces, heating stoves, and other heating systems.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Assess the performance of heating systems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and educate clients on system operations and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance work performed.
  • Collaborate with other HVAC professionals to complete larger projects effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in installing and repairing heating systems and HVAC equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
