Job Brief

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing mental disorders in patients of all ages. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
  • Administer psychotherapy and prescribe psychiatric medication as required.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a psychiatric setting.
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation.
