Job Brief
The Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) Mk1 Operator is responsible for the operation and monitoring of critical communications, detection, and weapons systems crucial to the effective control of air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a skilled professional with experience in tactical operations, emergency response, and advanced weapon systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor communications systems to ensure seamless coordination between air, naval, and ground forces.
- Maintain and relay critical communications during both natural and wartime emergencies.
- Implement emergency plans for disaster scenarios, ensuring readiness and rapid response.
- Relay vital command center information to military and government decision-makers.
- Monitor and assess surveillance and detection systems, including air defense mechanisms.
- Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, providing actionable recommendations to superiors.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
- Collaborate with other military personnel to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in tactical operations preferred.
- Proven experience operating military communication and detection systems.
