Job Brief
The Ssn/Ssbn Assistant Navigator plays a critical role in operating and monitoring essential communications, detection, and weapons systems to ensure effective control of air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor communications systems to ensure seamless coordination between air, naval, and ground forces.
- Maintain and relay critical information from command centers to military and government leaders.
- Implement emergency response plans during natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Monitor surveillance and detection systems, including air defense technologies.
- Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, providing recommendations to superiors for operational efficiency.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems in compliance with military protocols.
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of operational activities and communications.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior navigators and crew members on systems and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience in military operations, particularly in navigation or communications roles.
- Strong understanding of weapons systems, detection technologies, and operational protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay complex information effectively.
