Responsibilities

- Advise athletes and organizations on compliance with league regulations and governing laws.
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes through mediation or arbitration.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents to support cases or transactions.
- Consult with clients to understand their legal needs and provide tailored legal strategies.
- Stay informed about changes in sports legislation and industry trends.
- Represent clients in negotiations with leagues, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Jurisdictionally recognized law degree and active bar membership.
- Proven experience in sports law or a related legal field, with a focus on litigation.
- Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.
