Job Brief

The Roustabout Pusher plays a critical role in the oil and gas industry, responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining oil field equipment utilizing both hand and power tools. This position requires hands-on experience and a solid understanding of oil field operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, the ability to work in challenging environments, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and repair oil field equipment using hand tools and power tools.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Assist in the transport and installation of drilling rigs and related equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and safety on site.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety regulations.
  • Document equipment condition and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in oil field operations or similar hands-on roles.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with safety practices and regulations in the oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery may be required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
