Job Brief
The Roustabout Pusher plays a critical role in the oil and gas industry, responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining oil field equipment utilizing both hand and power tools. This position requires hands-on experience and a solid understanding of oil field operations. Responsibilities
- Assemble and repair oil field equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the transport and installation of drilling rigs and related equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and safety on site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety regulations.
- Document equipment condition and report any issues to supervisors.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanical or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in oil field operations or similar hands-on roles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with safety practices and regulations in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate heavy machinery may be required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
