Job Brief
As a Ski Resort Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a premier ski resort, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while managing recreational activities, staff, and facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in resort management or a related field, along with exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate all ski resort operations, including guest services, staff management, and facility maintenance.
- Plan, implement, and oversee recreational activities and entertainment programs for guests.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe environment.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to optimize resource allocation.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the resort and increase guest visits.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to enhance guest offerings.
- Recruit, train, and supervise resort staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in resort management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of winter sports operations, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Proficient in budget management, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and staff.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and promotional activities in the resort industry.
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR preferred.
