Job Brief

The Signals Intelligence Superintendent oversees the coordination and supervision of tactical operations specialists engaged in signal intelligence tasks. This role requires extensive experience in signals intelligence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to analyze and synthesize complex data. The Superintendent ensures the effective execution of intelligence operations while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor tactical operations specialists to enhance their skills in signals intelligence gathering and analysis.
  • Coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with established protocols.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote professional development and operational excellence.
  • Analyze signals intelligence data to identify trends, threats, and opportunities for improvement in operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to intelligence operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the capabilities of the tactical operations team.
  • Ensure the maintenance and security of intelligence systems and data integrity.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance and intelligence findings to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in signals intelligence operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in intelligence analysis software and signal processing tools.
  • Strong understanding of relevant intelligence community policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration and leadership.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required.
