Job Brief
The Ship’s Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) plays a critical role in safeguarding naval operations by managing electronic warfare systems and strategies. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement electronic warfare strategies to counteract enemy threats and protect naval assets.
- Operate and maintain electronic warfare equipment, including radar jamming systems and communication intercept devices.
- Conduct thorough analysis of electronic signals to identify and assess potential threats in real-time.
- Coordinate with other military units to ensure effective execution of electronic warfare tactics during operations.
- Train and mentor junior officers and crew members on electronic warfare procedures and technologies.
- Prepare and present reports on electronic warfare operations and evaluations to senior leadership.
- Stay updated on advancements in electronic warfare technology and tactics to maintain operational readiness.
Requirements
- Commissioned officer status in the military with relevant experience in electronic warfare or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline such as electronics, telecommunications, or computer science.
- Proven experience with electronic warfare systems and tactical operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex signals and data.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
- Certification in electronic warfare operations or related military training is preferred.
- Willingness to undergo continuous training and professional development in advanced electronic warfare technologies.
