Job Brief

Responsibilities

- Facilitate small group and one-on-one instruction to enhance student understanding of subject matter.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher.
- Prepare instructional materials and resources to support lesson delivery.
- Engage with students in a manner that fosters a love for learning and encourages participation.
- Assist in organizing and supervising classroom activities, including field trips and extracurricular events.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student needs and progress.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in education or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in an educational support role.
- Strong understanding of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to support learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
