Job Brief
As a School Traffic Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of students, pedestrians, and drivers in school zones. Responsibilities
- Direct and manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic during peak school hours.

- Assist children and parents in crossing streets safely, providing clear instructions.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and local law enforcement as needed.
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.
- Maintain a visible presence in the school zone to deter unsafe behavior.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on traffic safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned to promote a safe school environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in traffic control, public safety, or related field is an advantage.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Certification in traffic safety or first aid is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during school sessions.
