Job Brief
The Religious Education Coordinator is responsible for designing and coordinating educational programs for a denominational group, with a focus on promoting religious activities and outreach initiatives. Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive religious education programs that cater to community needs.
- Coordinate outreach efforts to promote participation in religious activities and events.
- Provide counseling and guidance on marital, health, financial, and spiritual matters.
- Develop instructional materials and resources to enhance learning experiences for participants.
- Collaborate with church leaders and volunteers to facilitate workshops and seminars.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make adjustments based on feedback and community engagement.
- Organize and lead training sessions for volunteers and staff involved in religious education.
- Maintain accurate records of program participation, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in program coordination, community outreach, or religious education.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
- Knowledge of counseling techniques and pastoral care principles.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in volunteer management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and educational technology tools.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design.
