Job Brief
As a Real Estate Clerk, you will support daily operations within the real estate office by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service to clients and prospective buyers.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of real estate transactions, including contracts, invoices, and property listings.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, such as managing accounts payable and receivable, and tracking financial transactions.
- Prepare and process legal documents and forms related to real estate transactions.
- Utilize office software for typing, data entry, and word processing to create and maintain documents.
- Operate office equipment, including printers, scanners, and fax machines, to support daily office functions.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring documents are easily accessible and well-documented.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and open houses, providing logistical support for real estate agents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or real estate is a plus.
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Strong proficiency in office software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of real estate terminology and regulations is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
