Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Reach Lift Truck Driver to operate industrial trucks and tractors, facilitating the efficient movement of materials in a warehouse or similar environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and demonstrate expertise in operating reach trucks. Responsibilities
- Operate reach lift trucks to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling and preservation of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking product quantities and locations.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on lift trucks, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery and handling materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
- Assist in organizing warehouse layout to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification, specifically for reach lift trucks.
- Proven experience operating reach lift trucks or similar industrial vehicles.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
