Job Brief
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Microbiologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating the growth, structure, and characteristics of microorganisms, including bacteria, algae, and fungi. Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological analysis and testing of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Develop and validate microbiological test methods and protocols.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Document and report findings in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in microbiological techniques.
- Assist in the training and development of junior microbiology staff and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in microbiological testing and quality control in a laboratory setting.
- Strong understanding of microbiological techniques, including aseptic techniques and culturing methods.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as ISO, GLP, and GMP.
- Proficient in laboratory instrumentation and data analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
